Quote: any of you guys have a diy on how to install this?
it's very simple.

1) remove the 4 clips on the top.

2) then in each upper corner, you'll need a flat head screw driver to turn the clips 1/4 clockwise/counter-clockwise (i forgot which). it should look like <-> before you turn it and [\] after. when you see you you'll know what i mean.

3) pull the grille out of the 6-8 tabs from the bottom.

4) put the new grille in place an hold it in with the 4 top clips (yes, these 4 clips are enough to hold it in).

shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

Got my grill today. looks good, but it doesn't have any holes on top where the 4 clips are suppose to go. Do i need to drill 4 holes then? Anybody get theirs this way, or did you guys have holes predrilled?

I received my grill last week, already painted Black Obsidian. First impression was great. The paint was 100% perfect and flawless and the overall quality of the grill was great. The mesh material is a little cheesy (IMO), but looks good. The material of the mesh is sort of a soft foamy-plastic. I chose to install it myself and everything worked out just fine. All you have to do is measure or make templates (I made templates) and then drill four holes. **** Make sure your templates are correct. The only real thing I can nitpick about is the fitment at the top, between the grill and the hood. At certain angles, the gap looks to grow larger towards the center of the grill. You can see it in one of the following pics. However, given that this is an aftermarket piece that I installed myself, I am VERY pleased with the result.

Oh, and I also did the CCFL strip light mod and painted my inside housings black to match.

Enjoy.

And, thanks Jose for the great product!
