all depends on fitment. I just paid $600 for a kenstyle rear replica and its got about $400 in labor in it and $530 for a nismo replica front that is gonna have about $300 in it once its done. I am kicking myself in the *** for paying this much, but I want it to look right. Next time I'm not going with replicas... I would guess installation would run you somewhere around $1500, not including paint work.

$4k for that kit is pretty good considering the other highend kits that arent WB are running mid $3k. Hopefully this will be my next kit one day.

I do have one question though. How are you gonna tie in an FRP quarterpanel with the factory steel one?

Hello,

To answer the first question... You should expect to pay around $8,000 for paint and installation at a quality shop. Remember, you have to do extensive modification to the rear corner panels when you go widebody.

To answer the second question... To attach the rear quarter panels to the factory steel ones; you use a material called Maxim. (Not the magazine!) It's a hardening substance sort of like bondo, but not as heavy. You use it to fill the gap between the panels, and when it hardens.... it's tough as nails. Then sand down to a flush finish!

Mike -

That is the kind of fenders I want on my car. Maybe not that big but that kind of style.

Hello,

Roughly $15,000-$20,000! It depends on a few things... are you going to do custom wheels, or just put spacers on a set you have? Do you want to do a color change or keep the stock color? Also, how experienced is the paint shop you are taking your car too? We do tons of wide bodies here at our shop, so it's nothing new to us. But if you go to a shop that is un-familiar to it, they might charge you more!

Kit = $4,000
Paint & Body = $8,000-$12,000 (Experience and color choice effect this)
Custom Wheels & Tires = $3,000-$5,000 (Pending on Size, Brand, Finish) or $200 for spacers!

Tim,

It can be done! Anything is possible, we would just have to figure out how the rear quarter panels should look with the doors, sides, and rear! I already asked my body shop manager to think something up for you!
