Hmm...the price must be too high. Its too bad no one mentioned anything about the price being too much earlier, maybe they would have lowered it and maybe more people would have jumped on the deal... Drop it to 300 for the CF and Ill send my payment tonight

i don't think it is the price. $399 shipped on a carbon fiber piece as low of a price for a bigger real carbon fiber piece like the diffuser.

APR wanted $600 or more for their carbon fiber diffuser and no one is complaining that it's expensive.

Even if i lower it down to $300, I probably will not get enough deposits for 20 people.

I have two options. To make less quantity, maybe like 10 to 15 pieces, but raise the price so that we can cover the molding charge.

I think that way we can probably sell some.

or just to test it out, i might lower it to $300 to see how many people will actually willing to put in a deposit. Will make a decision by end of the week.

Dreamweaver: Give me a call for the refund !!

aHero4Eternity: We won't have the revise version till later of the month. This is not easy as you think. It's much more technical ! Every little changes require mold revision and that required time !

i just hope i have enough money to pick one up when it's finished

I realize the price is where you want it to be for a good amount of profit and that its lower than most, if not all, other vendors. Its just a lot to pay for a piece so small where as you can get an entire rear kit for the same price from vendors such as Klumzyee. I guess you have to pay to play.

I am considering the regular non-cf diffuser right now, I just worry about the tips on my FI exhaust being too tucked...

unfortunately, i have commited to buying a strut bar and that leaves me with insufficient funds for this at the moment. i understand completely that it takes time to modify perfectly..but hopefully when this is out i have enough money in the pockets again.

aHero4Eternity:

We are doing the modification right now, a question for you. When you say yours hit the HKS exhaust, did the front parts here or the rear parts ?

Here are the update. If the front part hits, we need to make an entire new mold. If it's the rear parts (inside of the diffuser hitting the rear of the exhaust tip) , then we can shave the extra out !

Can you get me some pictures of the part that is hitting ??

unfortunately, i no long have the diffuser. i sold it because i had no use for it.

but from what i remember, when the hks tips were extended as far out as possible (theyre extendable, so they dont look "tucked" with certain rear addons.) the entire tip past the torched portion of the tip rubbed.

i have a feeling that a new mold will be necessary. if that is the case, then it's probably not worth making - considering the lack of interest in this thus far. i would love to have it. but if that means it won't be cost effective for you (or me for that matter, since the price will reflect the cost), then it's all good - thanks for trying.

anyway, i will use this pic for referencing:

as you can see, there's a very tight fit. where it doesnt touch, it's close enough that it will still cause vibrations.

/\ is there any way to lower the back portion of the exhaust? like a spacer of some sort that would allow the exhaust to sit a half in lower or something to that regard?

REFUNDS? seems this isn't going anywhere.. why tie up my money. 400 for a CF difuser is cheap... but its not gonna happen when people start lowballing the figure... this is a good way to ruin group buys.. set a price and deadline on orders... if noone wants it end it... move on..
