Maybe, this is a very difficult part to mold out even in regular fiberglass, I don't know if it would be possible to mold one out in CF without having the finish get damaged out from the mold.Originally Posted by Beebo
Ok. if the grill is made from fiberglass will there be a CF version in the future?
The CF Emblemless grill that the other vendor sells is just an overlay of CF over the OEM grill, and we try to avoid making overlays due to the amount of labor involved.

One of the top products on my order list. How good does this 'satin black' pair with the OB paint? Just wondering before I purchase.

Glad to see you considering my recommendation. I think the unpainted finish will look just fine on your car. If that doesn't work out, then you can always paint it yourself following the same DIY I provided you with or take it to a body shop to have it painted professionally (should cost around $50-$100, depending on the shop's quality of work and where you live).Originally Posted by eyz

I will be ordering a few satin black grills, but I won't have them until next week. I will get some detailed pictures so people can see what it looks like.Originally Posted by eyz

I think that it would look just fine painted satin black, IMHO you want to have a clear distinction between the grill and the rest of the car.
Thanks guys!!

I'm excited to see what the satin black grill will look like. Looking forward to getting one of my own!

I love how every pic he puts up of new stuff for the g coupes is on his own car... which just happens to be the same year and color as mine. Its like having my own real life photo chop, lol.
