The FIRST Aftermarket G35 Coupe Projector Headlight
Not to bash the vendor or anything, but I just don't understand the appeal of these headlights. It just looks like an attempt to copy the latest trend. It has the halo to copy bmw, and the LED strip to imitate audi. Overall it just looks way too busy and clustered to look good. There is no flow.
I have to agree. This design does not deliver the level of class and elegance associated with the vehicle. This design totally misses the mark. It is a "luxury sport" coupe after all.
On a positive note, I'm very excited to see that someone (whoever the manufacturer is...) has finally created an after market headlight for the G35 Coupe, it gives me hope that there will be others.
I hope to see other more opulent designs in the future. Likewise, I hope folks buy these and mod them out. I would love to see what someone come up with something. I'm almost tempted to do it my self.
GLWS.

Actually after watching the installation video I feel the need to comment again. These are embarrassing. I too want to know the answers to 6mt2nr88's questions. Where is the vendor? Stand behind your product and answer the questions. Unfortunately not everyone is going to love your product, but at least reply to the critics.
I'll also chime in a question. I know that ordering a new set of 06' projectors (U.S. model) to replace my CDN 03' headlights, I had to do some re-wiring to get day time running lights (required in Canada). Do these have DRL?
The 06' projectors also required me to do extra work so that the driver signal light does not hyper blink, and I had to ground the bi-xenon flip shield for it to work properly. (Anyone NOT from Canada may not know a lot about these issues.. but it required the addition of 2 relays, 2 relay harnesses (5 wire each), 2 additional wires, splicing/soldering, etc. Just to make the US spec headlights work in my CDN model. All of the above is PER headlight.) Would this have to be done with anyone that has a CDN model car? Important to know ahead of time.

Sorry for the late reply, but I was having fever for the last 2 days, so I wasn't able to respond to the thread.
OK, and for your questions:
1.) The reason we provide a ground wire, is because in the stock headlight, it comes with a metal bracket, I am not sure about why its there, but since the stock one come with it, we just also provide a ground wire just in case.
2.) The reason we only did a comparison for our projector and the OEM reflector is because the vehicle we install the projector headlight comes with the OEM reflector, thats why we just do a comparison as well while doing the installation.
P.S. We sold a few set of light to vehicle that comes with stock projector. Hopefully, I will be getting some comparison picture soon.
3.) I truly understand the G35 bi-xenon are good projectors, i learnt about it when I was doing some research for retrofitting projector to my bike. Click HERE. For right now, I can't say our projector is superior than the stock projector, but I will post up comparison picture for stock projector and our projector while I get my hands on it.
But also think about the time, money and work that you have to spend on retrofit. What we are offering is another solution for people who dun want to spend like 1 grand on headlight, and consider there's no waiting time.....
4.) For that halogen bulb, its just a design. Like the HALO ring, you can choose not to connect it.

Still waiting on answers....
why is the ground wire needed for the ballasts?
Why is the comparison to the oem reflector and not OEM projector?
How doe these compare to OEM bixenon projectors? (I can answer that one myself if you want but you probably won't like it)
Why is there the Halogen bulb over the strip of LEDs? what turns that bulb on?

The LED bulbs are 194/164 bulbs. They are replaceable, you can change it to any color you want.
