Has anyone installed the single beams kits for their fog light replacement?? Still not sure where the black and red wires go to.

I have an '03 sedan that already has HID bulbs for low beams (although one just went out). I would like to pick up this kit so that my highbeams are also HID. Am I understanding right that this kit is for a "conversion"? or will the kit work in my housings? Thanks.
