Can anyone tell me what is all involved with this if we just buy the lights (as opposed to sending yours in) is it just attaching the connector to the wires?

Pm'ed . We install the new board in the old boards clip in housing and install the oem plug on the new board so it is completely plug and play .We do this extra service free of charge .
