HIN Orlando show prep - are you ready!?

With Hot Import Nights only 6 weeks away, I wanted to start a thread for any questions about detailing and how I will be preparing FGC cars (and others) for the show.

I have taken several appointments already for the week of the show, but I wanted to answer any questions or offer advice for anyone prepping their own cars for the show themselves. I still have time open to help and I will be attending the show if there are any last minute needs.

So.... What's your game plan? What's in your show kit? Problems to resolve before the show? Is it too late to switch to Zaino?

Now is your chance, its like having a virtual car detailer here at your disposal!

Thanks and fire away!!

Jon

IMO a body bodied G35C is still a good looking car. I don't think it would be out of place at all. The club still gets points in the show for number of cars participating. So make sure its as clean as possible and have fun.

Now's the time to clean stuff you've never cleaned before!

At least you got nice wheels. I have stock and will probably still show up. Come represent!

I'll be there too with the EuroProjektz guys since I'm not gonna be showing my own car. I just came back from HIN AC, there were only 2-3 G35's in the show. Pretty weak. The FGC had better have as many cars as possible showing! It's not about having a show car, it's about showing the work you've done to your ride (a little or a lot) and hanging out with your friends, meeting new people and basically having a great time. I can't wait

Who cares. My friend was showing at HIN Miami with only angel eyes and clear corners a couple of years ago. Nothing else. It's gonna be so much fun plus who cares, there's always going to be someone more modded than the rest. You gotta come and represent

Is there any chance you're going to have any extras left at HIN? I could pick a couple of things up

It seems like I'm always ordering stuff, so just email me what you need and I'll add it to my order. Saves you on shipping at least. Check out those microfibers too - they are the bomb! lol

If you only knew how badly I need to overhaul all my detailing supplies.. I'm actually avoiding washing my car because of that. I'll need to do an inventory so I'll definitely let you know exactly what I need. Thanks Jon!

Well if you want to stop by my place sometime and talk about what I use or even try out anything I use, just give me a call.

I'll be getting my big order of new towels early next week. Pretty much the entire www.waynestowels.com line of products (replacing my own stock, but I have extra). Price the same as their site (just like any of the Zaino stuff), so you save on shipping.
