the best way to describe it is that it takes away from the smooth flowing look of the g35. that starts at the bumper and with the hole, it just doesnt fit in my eyes.

thank you all for your kind words (yea right!) but it really does not matter weather anyone likes it or not.....and don't get me wrong I was the one who posted "what do you think" thead....but I feel that its the best way to get air into the intercooler without buying another bumper. I was not ready to do that just yet......so i tried something different

again
thanks for ya'lls input

Winston.

P.S. not to take anything away from the comments made the pics were taken with aphone camera quality was very poor.

I would try taking the black trim off and using a color matched trim. I think it will aid the blending. Post a clearer photo afterwards.

I didn't like the wholes in the bumper look....but this is just worse.

If you're spending money on modifying the OEM bumper to accomodate the FMIC, buy an aftermarket bumper or do something like what KPierson did. Have you thought about modifying your bumper to make it look like TS or GReddy bumper where it has one large center opening and 2 smaller side openings?

Hmmm I give an A for effort for trying to take risks and be different, but with photoshiop these days, modding options are preety much almost mistake proof and that looks just plain ole bad.... I'd say theres a way to save it though...get some nice tight mesh that still lets some air pass thru and paint it body color and paint the surround piece you added....

I saw it before with the three holes and thought it wasnt complimenting the car but this ones just gonne way too far... fuctionalitys important dont get me wrong, your doing exactly what a race car company would do... fu ck the bumper make a whole for the intercooler....but you dont have a race car and it just looks way outta place...kills it

yeah i am thinking i would cut a little out farther and then cut evenly down, it just looks like your a fan of something that starts with the letter "T" and you wanted to incorporate it into your front bumper...
