The deal is gone so I'll be looking for new. I think I can live with the stretched rear tire OK. I'dstill prefer something a little wider and/or thicker. I'll probably have to roll my fenders too, but that's no big deal. I'll lok into getting a roller kit.

Next, I'll consider a S Tech or Eibach kit to lower it a little more.

And Ian, I'll get different rotors when these go.

It's part of the BRAKING SYSTEM isn't it?

This is the best deal I've found on the fender rolling tool:

http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...rID=232&KICKER

They also sell the heat gun if you're interested.

Thanks for the link, jb. I had no idea the tool was so expensive. Maybe I'll rent one or buy it and rent mine out.

Ian, what rotors did you get and where did you get them?

I've been thinking the exact same thing... plus that maybe the FGC would buy one for the members to use...

My suspension plans are currently held up waiting on some parts and I don't want to buy a fender-roller until I'm sure I need one.

pearlwhite03 mentioned a body shop that would roll fenders for $75 a side (I think that was the price). I can't remember exactly where they were, but it would be cool to have a body shop do it so they could fix any small paint cracks.

Way to go Gilley!!

ANd I say if someone rents the fender roller, we have a meet where everyone rolls fenders and contributes to the rental price! (I think this was mentioned before somewhere)

I got the Rotora slotted rotors with Axxis Metal Matrix Ultimate brake pads from IAPdirect ($678). They perform well (i used these at the Gainesville Race Way road coarse and beat on them), but if your getting this for looks you will be disappointed because they look wimpy compared to what Ryan/98intrique had on his car (brembo slotted rotors I think he had? Ryan gets all the cool stuff ). If you want a more aesthetically pleasing rotor, get Rotora slotted & cross drilled rotor or something else like Power Slot, Stoptech, etc.

Have you ever thought about coil-overs?

Tein Basics are pretty resonable in cost, and you get shock absorbers tuned specifically for their coil-over spring... and you can set the height of your car to exactly what you want.

Sean, wow it looks awesome. But of course I'm partial. Another option to consider is go with 255/30/20 in the front. That's the setup I have on the G now 255/30 f and 285/30 rear with H-Techs in front and S-Techs in the rear and fenders cut. I'll post up a pic tomorrow.

Fine job!

Thanks for the info and the pic of the G, Ron. I wanted the 35's on front for a little more protection and comfort, but it isn't providing the "look" that I want. So, I may swap them for the 255/30's, but Nitto doesn't make that size.

What brand tires did you get?

How did you split two sets of springs? What springs do you have on the Z?

I appreciate your input since your car inspired me.

BTW, are you running stock shocks and sway bars?

You're welcome. I have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I have an extra pair H-Techs now; Anthony @ RZ let me purchase just a pair of S-Techs. The Z has TEIN CS Coilovers. The G has stock sway bars and shocks. I'm trying my best not to go mod crazy with the G.
