tampa is decent. miami can get a bit hectic. ft lauderdale is about the same. west palm isnt too bad but pretty nice as well. depends really on your budget and job hunting. id try and work on that first before you pick a place to live. after living in st louis for over a year, i know florida > midwest any day. havent seen much of the northeast yet though.

i hear ya about change my family made a BIG change moving here.....things in new jersey were getting very boring, expensive, and repetitive after 16 years there. I have lived here 3 years now and regret not moving earlier. Things here are much more cleaner, there's something new to do everyday, and investments are one of the best in the country.

Hey Scootch, not trying to knock you so dont take this the wrong way, but can you not type like you are text messaging on a cell? Trust me, it will make you look a lot more educated all around.

And keep us posted on what you do, weve got a really god group in pretty much every area you are looking at.

i will call my cousin today when i get out of work and see if there will be anything avalible for me to rent next summer...and ill make some trips down so i wil have a job before i arrive liek at a best buy whatever as long as i can afford my bills..i will work anywhere to just get down there =0)

Good luck on the search, both housing and jobs. If you are looking in the Orlando area keep timeshare sales in mind. They can sometimes have a bad rap but do hire a lot of young peeps and I've seen quite a few make a lot of money.

As in any sales the job can vary quite a bit from one place to the next. A friend doing it right now sets up at one of the high end resorts, and tried to get people to go hear the pitch (listen to the 90 min pres, get free sh*t kind of thing). She doesnt have to close the deal, but anyone who does go in a signs up she gets a nice comp on.

Seminole, Florida is West of Tampa...Seminole County is East Orlando

depends if your talking about, like wes said, seminole county or seminole, florida.......

I know seminole county is for the most part very nice and has great schools resulting in good real estate market there

i belive its not the county...believe its Seminole,FL...but when i get home ill double check with me moms.....i just searched it on yahoo map...Seminole,Fl...looks as if its in the western part of Fl between orland and miami and on the out skirts of the tampa bay
