cylinder 4

does any of you guys knows which is cylinder/ignition number 4?? i got a ses, cylinder 4 misfire, i just replaced the plugs so it might be a loose ignition, but as you may know to replace all of them its a bitch, so instead of going one by one and removing half the engine, i rather just know and go straight to the problem, anyways im thinking it might be like this:

windshield

1___2
3___4
5___6

bumper

anyone knows?? i tried searching here and google with no luck

so 4 is the same as i have it? good, now the problem was that when i changed the plugs that plug (4) had oil on the threads, i think the ignition might have had some oil left in it, damn it, or maybe the new plug got some oil when i inserted it, can i clean the ignition with carburator cleaner?? any tips on how to get it clean real good?? im going tomorrow to get another plug and take care of that, tips are very much welcomed, thanx

what do you mean, the ignition?? you mean the coil??

some peoples valve cover gaskets were leaking into the coils, be careful with them cause they are expensive.

also make sure you torque the crush washer down on the new plug really good.

how does that work if 1 is front passenger and 4 is in the same spot

what you sayin is it goes
2__1
3__4
6__5

that doesnt make any sense!!

arent all the evens on the drivers side and the odds on the passengers side
what are you takin as the front of the car windshield or bumper
i was takin windshield as front
here is a better diagram

front
d--p
2--1
4--3
6--5
rear

i corrected you, so if you want to correct your post thats cool

odds on pass side, evens on driver side

i am assuming that he meant windshield as the rear part of the motor and the bumper as the front

then 4 would be in the same spot
