yeh the t1s is great in teh rain but the t1r suck a$$ in the rain

mine are horrible compaired to the t1s
i hate them and will probably never buy them again

i floored it during that mini-tropical storm a week ago. this is my right rear tire about 600 miles ago. a little spin and vdc kicked in, no more spinning. sorry to hear you guys dont like them but i havent had a single complaint. again, seems to be 50/50% love/hate with these tires.

well i drive with my vdc off all the time so that can be another reason why i say they dont stick.
im sure the people that like them are the ones that drive with the vdc on

what do you guys think of the nitto nt 555?

there is a spot on Avalon Park Blvd (curvy road leading to my house that on the nights the sprinklers go off, it puts a stream of water right through the peak of a curve I normally take at 75-80. Well lately when I come around and see the water, i immdetialy take my foot off the gas and then my car begins to sound like a drummer in a rock band. All four wheels are just knocking from the VDC hitting the brakes on all the tires...I used to be able to take it at 90 with the water with no problems...and there is no way I have over 15k miles on them....granted all of them are HARD miles but still...
