as far as tire wear you have to make a decision you were telling me that you want crap load of traction. that means you want the bridgestone but then you told me you dont want to change tires in 6 months which is what will happen if you get the bridgestones because you drive more than me and I put a crap load of mile on my car. I would go with an in betweener Tread wear of 280 or something close to that. To be honest you need to figure out the problems you have withyour tires now before you start buying new ones. from talking it sounds like your car is F'en up your tires. Could be any number of things figure that out first then determine whether you need new tires. Then you need to decide what type of tire you want. do you want crap load of traction or do you want longevity.....Cant have both. Generally speaking. Personally I like the T1Rs they should last you 17K maybe a little more or less depending on how you drive; and you drive like a bat out of hell. From what I hear the Michelins will last the longest so it might be worth the extra money to get them I heard they can go well above 20k. I heard the Nittos are really nice to I was thinking about getting those next.

Quote: Wes, my Goodyears are amazing. They are extremely quiet compared to my old Toyos. If you don't mind paying some extra $$$, get the Goodyears. They were about $1100 on TireRack...which you should do. I got screwed and bought them local for $1200, all because they said they would price match TireReack...but they didn't tell me it did not include tax.
+1 on the goodyears, I have them in the back and they are great.

UPDATE:

so I guess I owe Josh and Toyo an apology....I went to get an alignment today and it turns out the alignment was way off. There is alot more to the story but I want to try to get it settled off the boards first.

For now I will say this, Iv had these tires for like 6-7months and the outside of my fronts are very worn...the inside of my fronts though are running on metal.

Anyways, due to everyone telling me that the Toyos actually do last 20-25k, I will be getting those ASAP

Dunlop Direzzas are a pretty good inexpensive tire that lasted me well until I drag raced them to hell against Ryan.
