Tampa Dyno Day at XAT Racing - Pictures
Today was a fun day dynoing our cars and chatting with other car buffs. Many thanks to Ian for spearheading and organizing this event. Thanks also to some of our new 350Z friends that attended the Dyno Day. I think I can safely say that everyone had a great time.
Thanks also to the technicians at XAT Racing Tampa. They did a great job and seemed to be very courteous and helpful when moving our cars, setting them up for the Dyno, and running the Dyno itself.
There were many spectacular cars at the Meet today, and I took many more pictures than I normally do. I'll probably post several batches, since ten links is the maximum on G35Driver.
The day started like a normal Meet... Everyone shooting the breeze... Many of the usual characters and some new friends. XAT's in-floor Dyno removed a lot of the drama involved in getting the cars on the rollers. .. Nice.

We parked all over the front of XAT Racing. There was plenty of room... it was needed to move cars in and out of the Dyno bay.

Here are three of our new 350Z friends and their gorgeous cars... More pics of them later... Hmm... The guy on the right looks familiar... Nice Z though.

I think these guys are still trying to figure out who that was...

Everyone knows that Laser Red is the slickest of the G35 colors... Something I heard Chuck repeat over and over today...
Matt has a gorgeous Laser Red 2006 G35 Coupe. Certainly worthy of a few photos here.

And you can see which two cars got the parking spots of choice when we went to Hooters for lunch... Here Matt is giving his G a small detailing before we go in to eat.

More to come...

We went to a nearby Hooters for lunch and Chuck surprised everybody buy picking up the lunch tab with Florida G35 Club funds. Thanks, Chuck!!!
We sat at three separate tables because it was lunchtime and the restaurant was preetty crowded. It was nice to chat with everyone else though... I mean we do have one common interest...
Here's the lunch crew...

Ian is really impressing Chuck with his table manners.

...and the rest of us...

When I got out of my car after lunch, I heard someone pull up with a very sweet sound system. Check out the sound system in the back of this Z...

If I remember correctly, it's a JL box made especially for 350z's. Very nice... ...and also his red neon accent lights... sounds great!!!

Chuck's Dark Night was looking good... check out his new G35Frenzy windshield sunscreen... and there's something different about his headlights... Hmm... Let's just say, It's very flashy...

Lots of nice Z's attended and several made dyno runs...

Matt's brother Chris also attended the Meet and drove this gorgeoud 350Z. I can't begin to remember all the different mods, but this car is gorgeous!

A couple more shots of Chris' 350Z...

Stunniing brake kit. Great attention to detail.

Another beautiful 350G... In a great color, I might add... certainly worthy of the number of pictures posted here...

Note the detail in the hood...

...and the spotless engine compartment. You could eat off of any part under the hood.

Great event! Thanks to everyone that helped make it such a success!
If any of you want larger pictures of your car, send me a PM with your E-Mail address in it. Tell me which pictures you want copies of. All of the pictures in this thread are less than 256k... Pictures directly out of the camera are about 3.5 megabytes each.

Great pictures as always JB
I wish I could have been there, looks like you guys had a great time. Thanks to all that made this happen, Ian, Chuck and everyone else involved that came out to support the event - that's how we do it in the FGC
JB - you really should consider posting photos more often, your photography skills are amazing!

I like looking at pictures of the cars after events, so I usually take a lot of pictures. It's fun to share them here for everyone to look at. Photography is a fun hobby.
