Saying Hi from Alaska

Hey everyone. I jumped on the internet for .35$ a minute to say hey to everyone. I've been on a week cruise in Alaska since Sunday. I'll have a ton of pictures to show you guys when I get back. Right now, we are cruising from Skagway, AK to Victoria, B.C. I've seen humpback whale, sea lions, seals, bald eagles, glaciers, blah blah blah. It's been mostly in the 50s, besides the past 2 days of it being rainy and into the 30s at higher elevations.

So I know I have a ton to catch up on when I get back....but I can only think about Wes' post. Chuck bought the APS ST from Beastie? Ughh....only if I wasn't in Alaska, damnit! So does this mean Chuck will finally dyno since he will have some good hp numbers to put down?

I'll talk to you all soon.

Ryan, it's nice that you and Daniel can take a few minutes out of your exotic vacations to say hello to us.

You guys have a good time. We'll see you when you get back into town.

Well, I safely made it home (obviously). I had a great time. I went before with my parents for 2 weeks when I was 12, but couldn't appreciate all of what I was seeing. My parents bought Lauren and I the cruise package for my Birthday/early Graduation. I know I'm lucky and spoiled, but I still payed over $700 myself for the excursions and some misc. things. I officially want to move to Victoria, B.C. This is the most beautiful place with perfect weather.

Regarding some questions, the sunlight wasn't as bad as compared to almost 10 years ago when I went in the end of June/early July. Sunrise was 5:30ish am and sunset was 9ish pm. The temperatures varied alot because we traveled over 800 nautical miles N of Seattle.

Seatle - 70/55 clear
Ketchikan - 65/50 clear
Juneau and Skagway was miserable - 50/30 and rainy and foggy
Victoria - 65/55 clear

We disembarked our cruise at 7:50am Sunday and didn't get into Tampa until 1:20 am Monday. What a lonnggg day. Pictures will be up sometime soon.

I'm lookingforward to the pics.

I didn't get to Victoria last year when I went to Seattle, Oregon, and Vancouver, but I really dig Vancouver a lot.

I went in late May and it didn't get really dark in Seattle until about 10:30 but the sun came up at 5:30 through the window in the room where we slept, which didn't have a curtain (yuck).

In the winter, the opposite is true. It gets dark early in the afternoon and the sun comes up late.
