Random question. What kind of camera was used to take all the pics?

The quality of them is amazing.

I used a Canon SD550...but the pictures I posted are nowhere near the quality that comes off the camera. My photo host sucks.

Anyone know of a good photo host? Not like photobucker or anything like that...a nice photo gallery website.

Nah, I'm looking for something free. I had two prior web galleries that were awesome. Unlimited space and all. But with unlimited space means that the website shut down.

I use a Pentax Digital SLR with a polarizing filter to deepen the colors.

I got it from eBay, Just do a search on reverse cams and take your pick. There is tons of them out there just make sure you check the specs to get the one you desire. I wanted wide angle, and night vision.

Photobucket is not elegant, but they seem to do a good job of hosting photos for free.

Resize your photos to the final size you want displayed and the quality seems to be fine. Letting Photobucket resize your pictures results in a bit less quality for sure.

Photobucket recently changed some of their size limitations. I suspect this is a change to force more people to move to the subscription plan. Nothing good and free lasts forever on the Internet.

I have a TVNav2Gounit also. Does the unit reverse the image automatically or do I need a camera that sends a reversed image?

Hi the TVNAV2GO unit will automatically switch to the reverse input whenever it registers a video signal. Now I have my camera signal wired two different ways:
*One when you put the car on reverse it automatically turns on.
*Second I can turn it on whenever I want for as long as I want.

Note: the TVNAV2GO unit comes with a two way toggle switch to switch between NAV/Video source. This has to be replace with a three way toggle switch to switch between NAV/Video Source/CAM and you have to use diodes on the power wires for the reverse cam. You can also choose to mount two different swithes if you like instead of using a 3-way switch (but for what when you can do it with one switch )

Hope that helps.
