Thanksgiving Food Drive

Dear g35driver members,

Throughout the following weeks I am going to be performing a Thanksgiving food drive with my school (UCF) to raise money and caned food for the student and families of Pineloch Elementary in Orlando, FL. I would like to mention that some of these children eat breakfast and lunch at school but go home to a family that cannot afford to provide a meal for dinner. Even worse some of these young children are not able to eat on the weekends and go hungry.

My team (team hunger force) and I are trying to raise a minimum amount of canned food for 35 families and a minimum of $500 dollars that will be used on gift cards to grocery stores so each family can buy a turkey. If you guys are interested in helping out by any means please let me know and I will provide more information. I really want to make a difference in our community and for these families. I cannot do it without the help of others. I am aware this is not the most common place to ask for help but it is worth a shot and every individual makes a difference.

If you choose to participate by giving canned food or by sending donations, which can be used as a tax deduction, I would like to sincerely thank you. I am located near UCF and will be at Pineloch Elementary on Friday.
