I believe the spider cracking is due more to the flex of the bumper than the paint but I could be wrong. Either way, when Ryan had it painted the second time by that shop he went to, they did a better job matching the color with the rest of the car.

Ryan, don't worry, i've been busy with school. I'll drop off that diffuser for you at the bodyshop this week and get it painted hot pink just like you wanted . j/k

Ian...for the last time...not hot pink....Barbie Pink!!!

Samuel's Auto is who repainted my bumper www.samuelsauto.com. They did a hell of a lot better job matching the paint than All-Fleet did. The spider webbing is due to the rubbing of the bumper against the headlights and the fact that the Kuruma bumper isn't all that great at holding the paint.

Sorry about your bumper, Shermie. Some of the white might buff out.

I wouldn't turn that claim into your insurance company. It's not that big of a deal. Save that claim for something more costly. You chouldn't have even called them about it.

Maybe it was Jose (dreamG35) that hit you. I noticed his bumper was hit too. Coincidence?

That woulda been funny coincidence .

But my rear is lightly wrinkled and light (noticable ) scratches. Probably some a$$ wipe getting out of a parallel spot and swiped my rear corner.

But about the Samuels Auto thing.....I'm going to make an appointment soon to get that fixed and a couple other little things done. I have heard nothing but good from there so they'll be the first i call.

here is the update guys......Im calling infiniti to see what a new bumper would cost with paint and Im going to get it fixed. The only question is if i should go through insurance or just cough up the 800 or so bucks that it would to fix it. My deductible is 500 so i would be saving about 300 in my estimates.

I talked to katie about what we should do since she is an insurance agent and she said that if i made the claim my rates would not go up at all since my "Clue"(claim soemthing something somehting) is so good. However i did have one accident about 5 years ago where they got 4k from my insurance. So im still a little worried. I can still go the aftermarket route with the INGS but I dont think i want to do any body mods till i get a garage. except my NISMO.

Oh and im offering a 200 dollar reward for any information leading to the arrest of any person that was driving a white car between the 5:30 - 6:30PM in the Highlands Moree Loop area with front end damage with a noticibe DG color on it.

Thanks again

well you are not responsible for hit and runs.... only the deductable... your rates should not go up no matter what insurance company you have..

as for the reward...if i lived down there i'd do it for free!

would insurance cover it if you went aftermarket?.. that's something i've yet to ask an agent?

from what my wife says insurance will not cover aftermarket it has to be like for like. meaning you have a stock your get a stock. If you have aftermarket your have to have a rider on your car insurance to cover the value of that mod so if you get in a wreck and you dont have that you are going to go back to stock unless that specific mod is covered.

I guess i just dont understand some people............I would do the same, no reward is needed for me to do the right thing. For instance I saw a guy spin out of control about 3 days ago and hit a big light pole on the 408 no one stopped so i pulled over and i helped him out of his truck and called the police. Fortunately he was okay but after the fact i was suprised how no one else pulled over. Its not like it was a little fender bender he hits the huge light poles and actually knocked it over im suprised he wasnt more hurt than he was.

This reward is an incentive for the people that would not go out of their busy lives to help another.

K here is the latest update......I got an estimate and they said they can do a new bumper with finish for 715.00 after tax. I think that is decent but i explained to him that the damage was in the middle of the bumper and he said let him take a look at it and the might be able to do a good repair with plastic weld or glue and i wouldnt even be able to tell. This might be an option. I have an appointment in the morning.

sorry im confusing people. No Im not getting the diffuser. Two different bumpers. I was going to get my OEM rear fixed and do the NISMO front at the same time and so the paint would match and I might be able to save on the paint.
