I know there's plenty of websites to buy SA or M-rated helmets, but I'm looking for a place where I can go and try it on. Does anyone know of any retailers or motorcycle stores around here?

Just go to a couple of local bike shops and try on helmelts. When you find the one you like, note the model and order it online for a lot less. I have bought a few helmets from www.helmetshop.com in Daytona Beach.

Thanks for mentioning it, actually I just went there on Saturday and tried a bunch of stuff on. Didn't buy anything but least I know my size now!

I didn't even get your name until we got back down to South FL hahah Thank you for offering to help, does he have SA-rated helmets? I need this for the DE I told you about and I'm going to find out tomorrow if they accept M-rated ones. Why don't you shoot me a PM with your number or your cousin's info, I'll get in touch with him and see what kind of brands they have and whether they will work.

They usually have a few helmets that they rent out for around 10 bucks for the night.

But I also got screwed and had to buy mine at Moroso (or I could not run that night). But I like it. It's a G-Force helmet and I got it for around $125.
