i saw this mod and thought it was pretty sweet. i would be interested in doing it, but my head lights are painted so i'm not to sure how they would hold up in the oven. does anyone have a extra head light we can test on how to open them up??

what ones should i get? i wonder how blue the blue ones actually are? the UV color looks hot but not sure how well it will show up

using this diy i dont have to bake them to open them up, thus not jeporizing my paint on them. while open i can clear out the damn orange blinker.

anyone know where to get some projector housings to put in as well??

 

also keep in mind that i have 10000K bulbs in my HIDs, they are kinda a blue with maybe a little purple, but i think they are more blue looking
what do some of you guys that have seen my headlights would be the best color to go with

 

at $5, you can afford to buy a couple colors you like and pick the best fit.

as far as the cathodes, i really think blue would look nice but that **** would be so damn obvious to cops, white would be the safe thign to do

it appears that if we want to do the demon eyes its goin to be about 199 for the rings and im not goin to spend that. i was thinking just get some extra CCFL tubes and bend them around but im not sure how well they bend.

 

Yeah I have searched the forum, the Lincoln LS fourm where I used to hang out and the web in general. I am guessing you really have to know someone to know where these thinsg are made. My thought was hell they they are more than likely made in china some where and you know how they ***** out cheap electronics and such so they shouldnt be that hard to find.... NOT

The drivers that power them can be found easily but for some reason the rings are like the that damn ring from the lord of the rings.

I have a heat gun. Come over some weekend and we'll get midevil on your headlight housings. And I have a brand new set of replacement housings if you screw up.

 

Yeah I have a heat gun as well if you need it, as well as 2 old headlight housings that I dont use if you want to do a test first.
