Gilley, how do those phillips bulbs look. Better than the factory ones?

The philips bulbs I have are the OEM 4300K color, but being the D2S (you have D2R in yours) is in the projector, they seem much brighter than your style of headlights and I like them. I got the 4300K bulbs for about $56 shipped. To go to the 6000K Ultinons is around $200. I didn't want to spend the money for the difference.

I also go the mirror turn signal and city light bulbs (about $12 shipped for all), so there is no amber showing. I got Hella Yellow Star fog lights (about $14 shipped). They aren't as yellow as the PIAA's though.

I agree with Gilley... The Projectors are generally much brighter than the reflectors that come in the earlier Coupes. The other cool thing is that the Projector bulbs are Bi-Xenon... flipping on your brights removes a shroud on the D2S bulbs. It's not separate bulbs like the reflectors.

I bought the Philips Ultinon 6000k bulbs. They are theoretically not a bright as the 4300 bulbs, but I like them. They are more expensive though. There was a Ultinon Group Buy on these bulbs a while ago. I suspect it's over now. I also bought the PIAA Ion Yellow Fog bulbs and they do work well in the rain and fog.

There's tons of comments on these lights and bulbs in the Lighting section of the G35Driver forums. Check it out.

I've had them in for 2 weeks now.
