Feeler: Powdercoating

So...since I can't find any rims that I like better than the stock ones....I was thinking about powdercoating them black...opinions?

hmm, dont know. actually the only thing i dont like bout the stock wheels are the offsets

Powdercoating...........

This sounds like a good idea since you like the
factory rims. Just have them p/c the centers and
leave the lip alone. That way you'll have major contrast and the result will be better.

I just can't see how you can't find any rims you like better than stock.

If you do keep stock, then polish the lip and powder coat the center.

The stock rims look great, except that everyone has them...

The offset would be OK if the stock rims were a couple of inches wider...

are the stock 19s 2 or 3piece? if not I dont think you can go that route.

+1, they have a special tape @ the powdercoaters they use to tape off things but I'm not sure how well it will work in this situation. I had them use it on the back of the centers on my Mayas. Just the center section that met the hub, I wanted it to stay true flat. You will get a little build up on the edges and I had to do a little dremeling, not a big deal since this was all on the inside of the rim. Paint might be the way to go
