Anything other than amber side marker lamps are illegal in Florida.

Quote:
Fla. Stat. § 316.224 (2006)

§ 316.224. Color of clearance lamps, identification lamps, side marker lamps, backup lamps, reflectors, and deceleration lights

(1) Front clearance lamps, identification lamps, and those marker lamps and reflectors mounted on the front or on the side near the front of a vehicle shall display or reflect an amber color.

(2) Rear clearance lamps, identification lamps, and those marker lamps and reflectors mounted on the rear or on the sides near the rear of a vehicle shall display or reflect a red color.

(3) All lighting devices and reflectors mounted on the rear of any vehicle shall display or reflect a red color, except the stop light or other signal device, which may be red, amber, or yellow, and except that the light illuminating the license plate shall be white and the light emitted by a backup lamp shall be white or amber. Deceleration lights as authorized by s. 316.235(5) shall display an amber color.

(4) A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318.

I've had clear corners for years and never got harrassed nor have I ever met anyone who got a ticket for it. But I have heard that the cops around UCF are pretty strict and hate on ricers and give tickets to anyone with clear corners, illegal tint, and even too loud of an exhaust. Just be careful around UCF.

Not that this would apply to any of our Club members, but if you carry any illegal substances in your car, you may want to consider keeping your lights the proper color. A cop can legally stop you for having the wrong colored lights, which may then lead to a search of your vehicle, if there is probable cause to do so.

golden star for wes....thanx Gilley for looking it up. And it does seem as clear corners are legal as long as amber bulbs are in them.

Correct. That's how mine are, although they are tinted, which is not illegal. Amber light still shows through.

No comment, but i will say that it's not very air-tight so you would still smell it. If there was a k-9, you'd be f**ked anyways.

Unfortunately, i have no trunk liner.

older cars, you just just pop your middle console and hide stuff in there. it worked pretty well at keeping the smell down as well. our consoles arent that easy though.

as for the lights, yes anything but amber glass or amber light is illegal. i just installed my piaa superwhite leds last night in my corners and license plate. www.optionsauto.com had them for about $15/pair.
