New to the G35 6MT Family
Thanks. For the info on the Radio and the Stock Siruis. Question how much moding would be required to have a new radio installed? I am fairly savy with radios and etc..but i been out of the radio moding for a while. I would have it installed since I no longer have the time or desire to do it. I know they sell wire harness to avoid any cutting off wires.

There is no modding needed to install a new radio once you get the A/C controller, trim piece, and bracket (optional) because they all screw into factory locations. To keep the steering wheel controls, you will have to tap ino two or three oem wires to connect to the PAC SWI interface that works with your radio. Use aftermarket wiring harnesses to provide power, etc.
The real questions that will determine how far you want to go and how much to mod are whether you want to keep the Bose amp and speakers and whether you want a sub. Not much modding is required for either except new equipment, running new wire, and tapping into a wire or two. It all depends on what you want to do.

Then you can run the stock (or aftermarket) speakers with the radio power or get an amp. The oem head units are the same for Bose and non Bose. It's just best to avoid the Bose amp for those that have it.
