Hey guys...I know the threads on exhausts are exhausting. I've reviewed plenty of threads and heard plenty of clips, but haven't seen or heard either of these in person.

Would someone mind contrasting these for me. I'll probably add high flow cats as well. The goals are gains and civility under normal driving, but a more agressive sound under throttle...without completely abandoning the stock sound, if that makes sense. Please recommend a combo.

FI is in the plans, but probably a year out.

Thanks for the help.

I considered the FI exhaust seriously and had thoughts about buying one. It sounded good, but when I saw it in person, I just didn't like the look of the mufflers or the tips. I've seen new, better, tips on the FI test car (Rick). I don't know if you can get them or not.

I like the look and sound of the HKS exhaust much better. HKS has very aggressive (large diameter) exhaust tips. I bought a set in Daniel's HKS group buy. I don't know if Dan can still get them, but if he can, that's the cheapest I've ever seen them.

You can't really go wrong with either set. Hope that helps...

its brand new and has zero miles on it, it has been on the car for about a month now cause my best friend was going to buy the G but now he isnt going to. so i am taking it off, i will let it go for 700 picked up. do a search for it if you arent sure about what it is, or if anyone else wants it, let me know please..

it is the Injen Ti tips 2.5 inch true duals..

Just a little off.

Had a slow G sedan....made it fast....almost had a C6 (man, I'm glad he didn't)...sold it for a Z that was slow...made it fast...bought a G and swapped engines....now it's stupid fast.

Jeremy...I'll probably be up your way in a couple weekends. If you still haven't parted with it, I'll try to catch up with you.

Jeremy, can't you dial down the boost for daily driving? Thought that UTEC could be easily set to save you on the streets or is it not that flexible? But then I don' know sh*t about FI engine management.

PS... don't let them hijack another thread for that sexy beach...

The HKS I heard was damn loud (w/ test pipes). The Fuji and Injen (w/ cats) sound damn sexy.

i mean, i can press the gas pedal halfway down...

anyone that has a low and high boost setting is stupid. its pretty much pointless. you can push down the pedal say 75% and only build 13 psi.. heheh

or all the way and fry your clutch at 18.5...
