Hey guys, I’ve narrowed down my rim choices for my black G35 Coupe, all these rims and tires are new:

19” Sevas S-Star, Black with chrome lip in Federal 245/35/19 and 265/30/19 tires. The wheels are 19x8.5 with a +20 offset and 19x9.5 with a +20 offset. Bolt pattern 5x114.3, the price is $1700 shipped




OR

20” Ruff Racing 280s In Black finish with chrome lip with Kumho SPT KU-31 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 Tires. The wheels are 20x8.5 with a +35 offset and 20x10 with a +25 offset. Bolt pattern 5x114.3, the price is $1600 shipped





Can anyone tell me about the quality of Ruff vs. Sevas, the wheel weights, any experiences etc? Or if you know anywhere else I can get them cheaper, let me know . Or should I just bite the bullet and get some Volks? I really appreciate it, thanks.

I have the same 19" Sevas wheels on my BS coupe...They are heavier than stock, but only by 5-7lbs (fr/rr). They have no rubbing issues, though the smaller overall diameter means I could use a drop. I drive a lot of highway miles and I have had no vibration issues, bending--nothing. I have 7k miles on them in 3 months. I went with Nitto 555s 245fr, 275rr (recommended over the 265s for a little more of a contact patch)...

I prefer the look of the Sevas but like the size and offset of the Ruff.

 

+1. Since you don't care about weight, go with better looks. And consider 285/30 or 275/35 in the rear.

 

def. find some 275 rear tires. and put your G exctly like that black one you pictured at the top......looks S!CK!!! (sevas has my vote...)
