Hey guys this might be a repost, but I went to Countyline Dragway today, which is like 5 minutes from my house. It is on Northbound Okeechobee Road (US-27) right after Krome Avenue, about 1 1/2 from the Dade/Broward border. It was PACKED, saw a few G's and Z's, its only an 1/8 mile though. Beats the drive to Moroso, at least for me. Saturday and Sundays they are open. It's $10 to watch, $20 to run. Its a bit unorganized now but I'm sure they will improve their facilities as the get busier. Just a heads up!

 

i thought it was futher south, but this is not too far from my house if its by the dade/broward county line, just way west of me

 

yea man its about 6 miles south of pines blvd... it was a great turnout

 

very cool...........now, maybe the lines at Moroso won't be so long....

It really sucks waiting in a 1/2" long line of cars, just to drive a 1/4" race.

 

That sounds a lot better than Moroso, I might have to check it out. What nights do they run?

 

well i wouldnt jump to say better than moroso so quick... definitely closer. and it definitely has potential to grow. i HATE the drive to moroso which is why i never go. its only an 1/8 mile not a 1/4 mile but hopefully they will expand... its saturday and sunday... not night racing only day.

most definitely, finally get to meet some fgc people... i have been in since the beginning and have never met anyone in fgc

 

1/8 mile tracks are a total tease...they make you (and most everyone else) feel even worse when running evo's and sti's...
