30k mile service

so im almost at 30k and about to take the car in. this is what im thinking about...

oil change - this is a given, mobil 1 syn every 5-6k
transmission flush - recommended for autos
differential flush - also recommended
in cabin filter - freshen it up a bit
couple other small things

so how many other autos out there have done the trans and diff flush or is it just a waste of time?

edit: also how much should i expect to pay?

the 30k at the dealership is like 3 or 4 hundred i think...

the cabin filter is $20 and takes under 10min to change but they charge $50+ to do it.

i would honestly say, just change the oil at a regular shop or do it urself....and change the cabin filter urself and be done with it...

I can do everything except the tranny flush in my garage in less than an hour. I had the tranny flush done on my sedan at Orlando Infiniti and did everything else myself.

The differential will cost you $10 for sythetic lube and 10 minutes to drain and refill. I think it takes a 10mm hex bit to remove the drain and fill plugs.

It's oil, so I drained it into my oil catch pan along with the engine oil and took it to Advance Auto Parts.

I'll do it for you on Sunday if you get the gear lube. I think it's 80w-90.

Yeah--I had a service coupon that they (Atlantic Infiniti) mailed me and without the balance and alignment, and I brought in my own oil and oil filter, it was still almost $400, Lyndon...
