As some of you may know....

I am no longer a G35 owner, gave it up for a couple reasons....

1. too many miles on car
2. payment too high
3. got a little bored since i couldnt afford to boost it...

so since 1993 I have been finding anyway possible to purchase a Toyota Supra TT...unfortunately due to $$ and the popularity, it has been an unreachable goal for me.... I almost jumped on one this time, but I just couldnt justify the price....so I went with the next best thing....

a LEXUS SC300, having the identical 2JZGE motor in the Supra NA....now I know its no turbo, but it will be since along with the car I recently purchased a 2JZGTE motor to be swapped in after it gets built up...

So I must say my time with the FGC has been a blast and have made some great lifetime friends and contacts...I will try to stay pretty active in the group if you'll have me, but I just won't be showing up in "PimpinPearl"

Thanks for all the good times everyone!

Here are some pics of the new project! Already added an HID kit and JDM yellow fogs...

Parts waiting to come in:
Tein Flex w/EDFC
Eclipse AVN6600 HU
JL Audio ZR650-CSi
T&E clear corners

looks hot bro! i always thought of doing the same thing, since i couldnt find a supra.

one of my friends was selling his last year but i decided to buy a new set of wheels for the G.

kinda regret it sometimes but i'm happy w/ the G for now

are you gonna get some wheels too or just a drop?

yea ive been on clublexus a lot since I've had the car, there are a bunch of people that have done the swap so I shouldn't have too much trouble...i will most definitely be going single turbo as well...

i plan on getting just some used 18"/19" wheels right now, looking to spend about $1200 if anyone knows of anything....but eventually I will throw on a kit and roll the fenders and have some custom wheels made, but thats way down the road....

got the avn from a dealer in florida...can't tell, sorry

and in case some of you new members don't know what i had before.....

Nice pick-up on the SC300 Is that a 1997-2000? Definitely a lot of modding possibilities with the SC, both appearance and performance wise. Like another member has mentioned, stop by ClubLexus.com and check out the SC forum. I'm actually a moderator at the CL site (owned a Lexus for several yrs before got the G).

Of course you are still welcome. The Lexus has a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress.

Congrats on the new project car, Josh. Your SC300 looks very clean and in very good condition. Its rare to find those like that these days. Lucky find.

It will be sad to see you go as you were one of the first I met when I "discovered" the G35/350z scene back in February of 2004 (remember the lake underhill park meet and cruise to Target on 408? Good times). Heck I didn't even know what an injen exhaust looked like until I saw you car back then (lol, when it was bone stock looking).

Good luck with that car and stop by sometimes on the forum and hang out out when you get the chance with us when we get together. Don't be a stranger.

Maybe we could have a clublexus & fgc meet sometime...?
