Hey Guys,

I have a client that just came in to my office and told me that a drunk driver swerved in the on comming traffic hitting my client, his wife and mother in law around Avalon area . The Drunk driver didnt have enough insurance to cover anything and the only thing that saved their lives was the seat belt. My client is doing well but his wife is still in ICU and his mother in law is in Rehab.

I know im probably the worst one to say this bc i dont never wear my seat belt, but after hearing this happened to someone you see so often changed the way i think completely. So just make a conscious effort to wear your seat belts.

Thanks again

i feel ya man...i lost my bro in an accident after he was ejected and his m3flipped and rolled for more than 700ft if he had his seatbelt on things may have been different...even after all of that for some reason i still hesitate to wear my seatbelt but at the sametime encourage everyone in my car to wear theirs?

Wear your seatbelt, shermie. you don't want Wes to marry Kate if you buy the farm in a car crash.

I never wear my seat belt, and never will (only for cops)
I was in the car accident once, and if I would be wearing a seatbelt I would be pretty freaking messed up right now. But not wearing it allowed me to jump to the back seat when my mazda 929 was flying straight into the wall @ 70 mph.

It was kinda funny when I crashed and my car came to a stop, bunch of ppl gathered around to see what happened (I crashed on the 5 lane freeway) and when I came out of the rear passenger door they all were confused cuz there was no driver in the car (I was alone when I crashed)

You are an exception to the general rule of surviving a crash without a seatbelt. Good for you it worked in your favor.

Being in the business, like Gilley, for over 12 years, more people die NOT wearing them when wearing them...It just dosn't make sense to not wear them--especially with the kind of driving a lot of us do...

While I'm young and able to react fast I'll trust God with my life and my reaction
I'll switch to God and Belt after 50 or so

your reaction will be of no help when something unexpected happens. the forces of a crash that will be transferred to your body are enormous. a seat belt does its best to eliminate them. please rethink...
