Problems with ConceptZPerformance

Anyone have problems with Gin @ ConceptZPerformance?
I have about 5 PM's between the two of us directly stating,
from him, 6piston Stoptech kit shipped. 2k. We said repeatedly
and then told me 3699 shipped on a full set. Then I try to put
in my order today and he says no way, 2600 for the fronts alone.
Im just wondering how the ***, pardon my words, a seller can
directly quote me that and yes I have all of his PM's directly stating
these prices, Im sure the admins can go through our mailbox to see we
didnt mess with the text and take it directly. Then bump up my quote
by 500 dollars? Was he smoking crack every single day we spoke or what?
Im just very bitter about this, I realize thats a hell of a price but the
guy couldnt have typed the wrong price and product in every single day
that we spoke to eachother! Then I even offered to pay 100 dollars more then he quoted me just to get this over with because he's a moron. But no. So Im just wondering if this guy...misquoted ANYONE else by 500 dollars +??????????

I've worked with Coz at CZP and he's a good guy to work with. Nothing but good experiences with them.

Did you ask him how much for the kit 5 times? Or did he just give you a price once and then quoted the text directly? He prolly didn't realize the mistake the first time he quoted you and didn't realize that it was the wrong price. And without asking him to verify the 2K in subsequent pm's then it was prolly wrong in the first place.

Anywho, hope you get this resolved. There's no way you can get a full stoptech kit for $2k new.

2k is fronts only, 3699 is full kit - and he clearly states......

4piston 332 = xxx
6piston 2,000 shipped.

I mean I dont see how there was confusion.

I hate group buys where you have to send a PM to get the actual price... It always seems like something shady is going on... I know the dealer is implying that you're getting a price lower than the manufacturer will allow, but that's BS... I don't like that policy!

I saw the CZP group buy and he didn't mention 6-piston front calipers. I'd say cut your losses and move on from this guy...

But... $2600 for a Stoptech 6-piston front BBK isn't a terrible price if it includes the stainless lines and good pads...

why is it that no one posts prices in the vendors forums? I feel the same as JB, if your going to sell to us , post prices so we all get the same deal. I always see people requesting quotes to "zipcode" , but shipping has no baring on the price of the parts, so why not post the prices.

ill tell you why. almost ALL of the companies have MAP pricing. this is minimum allowed pricing. if people post up publically lower prices, they will lose their privledge of selling that product.

do you really want to pay 1050 for a utec or would you rather pm me and save 300 dollars...??

i would honestly be willing to bet that StopTech raised their prices. i can check on them to see what is the deal.

i can get those for you if you want. i can get all the brake companies stuff at good prices but i dont keep up with them that much cause i dont use them that often, i am more into power than stopping... hehe
