OI Changes Their Maintenance Requirements

When I bought my G in '05, OI gave me paperwork showing how much the scheduled maintenance costs were....the 30k service was over $1000 and had a lot of stuff I considered not necessary for the mileage.

I take my car in today for the service, and lo and behold they have CHANGED their recommended service and items and now is cost just a little over $500!

I guess enough people complained or just flat out refused to waste their $$ that OI finally wised up and made some adjustments!

Any other reasons you can think of?

Did you double check the list of items that they were going to service? maybe they were leaving out some stuff with the $500 than with the other price.

in any case, i took my car in a month ago and they "noticed" that i was at 21k miles without any sort of record for scheduled maintainence, and tried to pursuade me to buy it for over $400, which i refused ;\

from my understanding there is the regular service plan and the premium service plan the premium is much more expensive. Plus i just got my Trans flushed and they went up on their prices from 250 to over 340. Dont know why but they did. I scheduled my service before the change in prices and they quoted me the trans flush at 250 so i got that price.
