New Member, New Car....

hey guys, name is Riley... mighta seen me posting around.. figured id make a formal hello.

used to have s2000... mighta seen me around had about 15 sets of work wheels on it in the last year... (im authorized Work Wheel Dealer) just bought 07 athens blue G35 coupe on friday and pretty much got all my mods ordered and arrived for her so far, and a few mods on the way..

quick pic of car the night i got it:

as of now, no pics cause i really dont like taking pics stock height... but the mods i have and on way:

--Tein SDF Suspension,
--Bride Vios3 (solid black mesh no gradiation, and i had Bride Japan Gel coat the backs grey to match the stone interior(normally they come CF or silver flake)
--Buddyclub Rails for the Brides
--Nismo Wire Harness so the airbag light doesnt come on.
--ARC Ti Round ****
--Spc Rear camber kit
--Limo Tint all around and 50% on the entire front windshield
--Fully Shaved the Trunk (not a mod i know but just saying)

--Wheels: (coming next friday as temporary's until my Work VSXX come)

22x11+14
Auto-Couture Black Label Frantic (Silver)
picture of them from their site: http://www.auto-couture.com/blacklab...tic/index.html only $2740 each front, $2800 each rear.

picture of them 22" on car (machined finish): http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...k/Wheels22.jpg

and then this emblem on trunk: http://www.auto-couture.com/accessor...or_a/img_1.jpg

the temp wheels were last minute but i think they'lll look sick as hell, i was contemplating these full faced ones here : http://www.auto-couture.com/newsinfo/tas07/photo3.jpg but i feel like might be too VIP for the Car.

anywho on the 22's 245/30.2 F 285/25.22 R Falken 452, and going to reuse stock TPMS.

as far as coming:

20x9.5+13

for sure man, ill pretty much go cost on you guys so if you need anything feel free to ask, i try and stick to selling only Work wheels because their my favorite.. i just know the owner of Auto Couture too so hes going to make these and overnight em to me which doesnt hurt for "temp" wheels.. but after that im pretty sure ima be sticking w/ Works after the Auto Coutures and maybe maybe get some Topsecret Edition Te's in August, just for the hell of it cause i really like gold on blue setup.. lol i know alot of wheels but thats my thing....

Welcome to the Club and congrats on the new G. I noticed that you didn't list a front camber kit. There are several good makes out there.

not looking for front camber kit, actually buying rear to go more camber.

the front camber kits the way their setup actually move under alot of stress which i dont like, friend of mine works over at SPC and we had a long talk about this.

from top of my head the specs im going to aim for prior to getting a pyrometer to actually test what i "need" is around -2.5/-3 front camber and -3.5/-4 rear.. slight toe in front around 1/6th each side so 1/8th overall and then slight toe in rear around the same, and depending on the caster setting it get from this maybe get something made to adjust the caster better.

It appears you are looking more for track specs than street specs. You can add more negative camber with adjustable a-arms too. The G's front suspension isn't adjustable for camber or caster.

22's will work fine, i wanted 20's for daily.. but for temp wheels i figured for the extra few bucks i wanted 22's because hell... might as well. the overall diameter on the tires is only .6 larger than stock so the car will still be slammmmed on the ground and wont be 4x4ish... she should be looking good.. i just hope theirs a lollicup meet around mid month so i can roll up with em on.

22's on a 6 series (similar size to G)

and then on G (but widebody) will have same size lips as what im planning

i was on edge about them at first but now i think they'll look fine.. if everything works well as far as what im planning i might actually bump to 22" work wheels later on.. these were just for me to sample and not have to wait forever.
and then

I really can't wait to see the Mod wheels on your car. I really like the way you're going about your G...because not too many do.

You can post as much as you want, it's a free web site. It's referring to the benefits that you'll get from it. We're not a ricer car club type group, lol. You missed the interpretation of it.
