Might be interested in the test pipes.. did they make it sound raspy?

 

Yes sir: a lot...I have a Fuji ypipe and Japtrix mid pipe (slightest of rasp now from that) and the stock back end, and I think that the mid pipe contributed to it, but yes...Some like it, some not.

At speed, you couldn't tell. Below 3k rpms, no problems--sounds great, deep, has the "whoosh". But floor it, wow...raspy raspy raspy...

 

Yeah I have a borla cat back, i guess it could be a little louder but I dont want raspy!

 

I heard that aftermarket cat backs actually tone down some of the rasp by relieving more backpressure that the stock set up facilitates, but I imagine you will still have some.

Lyndon posted some sound clips with his test pipes (different) with and without his Injen exhaust. You could listen to those or ask him tonight what he thinks...
