I'm pretty sure we can het enough people together to make this happen.

I am going to be out of the country for the next week, and I'll be unavailable via email or cell phone. . Please keep this thread alive. I think our best shot will be August 4th. that is a staurday, and it gives us enough time to get organized.

Is anyone in contact or close with the South Florida Z club? I'm sure they'll have guys who'll want to come out and play. I also have a couple buddies with 8 sec rides that need to do some shake down passes on their setups. (one of the guys is a mechanic at Coconut Creek Infiniti; he drives a G35 coupe, but races an 8 sec Lincoln MarkVII. )

Yup....Bill is a great dude. I have know him for years. He has the coupe with the drag radials on it. I got him a greddy kit for it, but he hasn't put it on yet. there are a bunch of hard core drag racers there at Coconut Creek Infiniti...............

now that I think of it, maybe CCI would be interested in sponsoring the drag day.

 

if this happened, would it be only for "official" fgc members?

and would it be G's only, or would friends be allowed bring their car's?

 

We need to let more people know about this. How can we let the Florida G35 guys know. Is there some way to send them a message or something. All I know I will be there if it happens.

focus more on gettin the word out. tell them to contact andrew or you on this forum. the more people the cheaper the price.

I think we need to get a list going and see exactly how many G's and Z's are going. The closer we get to 50 cars, the less we each have to pay.

I have a friend with a new ZO6 that would probably be down to go. I don't think anyone would have any problem with that. But I really don't want to see any 15 sec grocery-mobiles.

 

got a friend with a charger rt, and a mazda speed 3 that would go, but not gonna ride out there by myself

now that I'm back from vacation, I need to get back on organizing this.

This does not have to be limited to Z/Gs, but I'd really like to see some fast cars come. I have a few local people and some of my clients I have talked to. One guy has a Porsche Carrera GT, Ford GT, and a new Z06 (daily driver ). Another client has a McClaren SLR.....I'd love to get some of these guys out there.

 

With those types of cars.....why don't you ask your client if he or she wants to sponser the event?
