It's an absolute gd shame that you can use a handgun in that situation - assuming you kill the bastard - but the driver trying to get away is charged.

Get a lawyer.

Glad you're both safe...

Glad you are ok but I would have made sure I ran his a$$ down, no doubt about it. I you had a good lawyer you probably would not have been charged with anything at all.

That is exactly what did happen, except I took the long way home ; ]

I will be picking up the pictures on CD tonight around 7 from BRPD so I will post em up, just got my car back today funny thing is after the kicking and hitting and me backing into his car 3 times, there are no dents or scratches except a few in my bumper!! Got all my windows back, new tint, even had the front window tinted 40% to keep it from being able to be broken again.

I did get the police report back today, out of 6 statements only him and his lady companion say I tried to hit him all the others say I he was beating on my car and I just tried to get away so doesn't sound like I will be prosecuted. Luckily my father knows a lady in WPB who is an assitant D.A. so she will be speaking to the D.A. who is handling my case and hopefully within the next few weeks and after speaking to the other officers no charges will be filed. Apparently this man tried to attack the officer too when he arrived, he had to draw his weapon and tackle his ***, oh and no fing resisting charges either!! I did pull his record last night, just a minor simple battery charge several years ago. I really am disgusted with the way the police handled it, not only that but while they were investingating for over two hours, no one was able to tell me ANYTHING and I was unable to eat or get anything from my house or have anyone bring me anything (mind you i was NOT in their custody at the time and I was on the way to dinner when this happend). Once everything is over with I will be filing a complaint against the officer and also for not checking on me every 20 minutes in the cell as he stated on the jail report. He came by twice in a 6-hour period. Jackass's.

That's just crazy!! I'm amazed sometimes the types of things that some cops do, and their attitudes about it! wow, just keep us in the loop... i'm curious to see how this all unfolds...
