Hey black the installation is very straight forward. Just locate the stock cats remove the 4 bolts holding it an then replace it with the test pipes

ya, they are easy to install. However, the 3 bolts triangle were facing toward the headers and its on the other side. Since i have auto, there's alot of things in the way and it makes the installation hard to do it because the bolts are behind facing the headers.

bolt heads face the engine so it was easier to come down through the compartment when i got mine done.

Take a trip to Orlando and have Jeremy at PF do it...

That being said, a shop that does aftermarket exhaust installs should be able to swap them out in an hour. You may pay as high as $85 and hour, though. You can call Stage 6 and see what they quote you...

well, since i was on campus asking this question online, i went to Velocity Trends and ask them for a quote. They quoted me $75 for installing test pipes.

Also, i called Stage 6 and they quoted me $90 for installing test pipes.

So i'm gonna stick with Velocity Trends on this.

Thanks for the input you guys. Really appreciated!

I got a good price on some new kinetix cats, so I figured i'd give it a try. Hopefully they turn out okay. I'm looking at them right now, and the quality looks pretty good to me. Just hope the fitment is good.

WHOO HOOOOOO!

got my tp installed!!

it took the mechanic a lonng @$$ time to get one stubborn bolt out of the stock cat from the header on driver's side! about an hour! lol

finally he got it loose!

i gotta tell you..im pretty excited with the tp! no SES lights...yet!

i just started driving ..it growled a bit..i was like "o0o0o0o!" then around 3500 rpm and 4500 rpm...it was fuggin loud!!!

i'll post the stock tp vid and the aftermarket tp vid later on today!

actually, just a clarification, it is not $75. It is $85. The reason why it is $85 is because i supplied the parts. If you do not supplied the parts and you got it from them, then it is $75.
