Moving to Orlando from Boston!

Sup guys Just sold my 04 IP/Graphite coupe 2 weeks ago, looking into a few condos in the orlando area and looking to move within the next few months. Once im settled in and at my new job for a little bit will be looking to pick up another G but DG/Graphite this time.. Very much liking the style of 98Intrigues car and will be going about the same route modifications/looks wise. Anyone know of good areas to look for as far as living and hangin out, restaurants etc. thanks guys! hope to meet some of you down there soon!

Originally from Chelmsford and lived and worked in Boston, now in Orlando.
My advice... stay there

that aside, the G crew here are cool and there is plenty to see and do. Just wish the traffic wasnt as bad and the lack of people who knew how to drive in it.

I drive 17 miles to work and about 13 of them east on the pike into newton from Framingham.. takes almost an hour sometimes.. why would i stay here? Its friggin freezing, cant drive a G 4 months out of the year..the real estate is retarded expensive for a ****box ranch $300k+ for that i could get damn near a mansion down there.. I am a Lexus mechanic and will maybe lose 1-2$ an hour but im flat rate with a busy shop, should make almost the same! Im a big golfer and Orlando is the golf capitol of the world. love the heat and the beach etc etc. Not much holding me back!

I hear ya. The weather was the allure for me as well and like any place there are pros and cons but I think many agree Orlando is no longer the place it used to be. having said that, the area has a lot of super cool people and offers a lot of non touristy areas to hang out so welcome to CFL.

Ya i picked up the game 2 years ago and love it.. Im a 7 handicap had a rough summer trying to improve my wedges and would rather not talk about my scores haha. Im a big athlete played every sport and just pick them easily i guess im lucky. But my little brother is 18 scratch golfer. Hes going to SDGA in Altomonte Springs and gonna let him stay with me and bum lessons etc. off him try and maybe make a tour within the next few years. Ive found some condos im very interested in and prob gonna take a trip down three to look at them.

Hey man, good luck with the move...I can certainly understand the allure of the weather in Florida. Just watch out for those hurricanes. I wonder if house insurance is more expensive down there?

Once you're relocated, you gonna go for a used 07 G35, or the new G37?

I cant see myself spending 35-40gs for a car thats not much more impressive then the 04-05. buy one for 20gs and put 10 into it.. its 100X better then either and cheaper
