Hey everyone I just wanted to kind of introduce myself I guess since no one knows who I am and I would like to start attending some of these meets that are coming up! I am originally from Venice FL and moved to Gainesville in January of 07 to return to school after 4 years of active duty in the Marine Corps. I currently work part time for Gainesville Fire Rescue as a Communications Technician and go to school full time, majoring in electrical engineering. That being said, I am very good with electronics and pretty good with mechanicals also so if you need any help or anything feel free to contact me! The main reason I am posting this is to find out who else on this forum is in Gainesville or the nearby area. It would be nice to find some locals that are fellow car enthusiasts especially another G owner! Well that's the rundown! I look forward to getting involved in some of the events coming up in the near future.

Thanks everyone. I will definately try to make it out to the Hooters lunch and the Lokey meet. I am excited and a bit worried at the same time. I think after these meets and seeing some of your cars I am going to go broke trying to make mine better!

Haha, yeah I am used to the Marine comments. I actually spent my last 2 years of active duty in Japan. I was stationed in Iwakuni which is right near Hiroshima. So I was lucky enough to get to drive a few nice R34 GTRs and a couple Silvias. It was definately awesome especially being a car fanatic!
