Alright everyone, here we go another Boba Blends Meet set for the 24th at 9:00pm, 8:30 for roll in for reserved spots. The last one was ok, but, this one is going to be muuuuuuch muuuuch better since we've had more time to plan and promote for it compared to the previous meets that we've had in the past.

I can also arrange for another pre-meet so that we can all roll out to the event together for whoever would like to pre-meet. For the roll out just let me know who all would like to do that and I'll set it up.

man, a g35 "meet" is a lunch at hooters with 10-20 cars in the MIDDLE of the day. *yawn*

the boba meets are a mix of every brand car and styles, they enjoy spirited driving from time to time too, and im sooo down for that. i enjoy big groups of cars who like to race and hang out.

I try to get the G guys to go to sonic on beach blvd on saturday nights but they always say "sonic is gay".

to each their own, i suppose...id love to see a group of 20 G35s roll into sonic or the boba meets, that would be amazing...thats why i encourage all of you to attend.

Music, tons of cars, reserved parking, and even spirited driving after if you'd like.

Sounds great Lyndon, thanks man. A roll in would be great again. Last time, Publix at Town Center worked out great but we could do wherever is good.

 

HEY G BROS,Sorry but didint know were to introduce my self,name is MALAVE im from the San diego forum (SDG) im about to have the last car meet tonight and ill be gone for 6 month around ASIA ,then after ill be moving to JAcksonville.ive been in cali and the street scene over here for 5 years and im ready to change here tha POPO are wild and it not the same anymore pretty soon ill be station over there and i need to kick it whit some G CLUB.ill be there sometime around january ,and the G will be getting work on. my best friend is in one of those CIVICS club he tells me of some TURBO RED G that shows off to them in the jacksonville area i tell him thats just 5% of whats comming anyways see ya guys in some month'sDOMO

too bad they don't make a bud light boba blends? hahaha, then lyndon could get them for free, bahaha... I may hang out for a bit. I have like 40lbs. of old car magazines I need to clean out of my house. Maybe I can give them to the civic/integra guys. =)

G35 drivers act like they are so much better then everyone else.

i love my car, and i love cars in general, i like big car meets and i like racing, so thats what i do, i shouldnt be sorry i enjoy other models and the flavor they bring to the car scene, dont judge me for not going to hooters at 11am on a saturday to meet a few guys with diff versions of the same car i have. I wanna see them and meet them, dont get me wrong, but i get juged too much for the way I like to meet (sonic and boba)

I'm pretty sure that it's not the fact that you want to hang with all other cars but civic's specifically. Civic guys kinda have a rep for doing illegal ****. Honda guy's are dumb(in general). Honda guys are either kids that don't know or adult the refuse to learn. For the most part, Sonic is gay. The Honda guys all say the same thing and are immature. It's just one of those things, you are probably a ricer with a little money, that's why you have a G instead of a Civic. We(as a VQ community) will never respect Civic's because of what they have done, and will continue to do, which is act like dumb asses.

 

I'd like to throw my opinions into this discourse as it were. I'm new to the family so this may not hold any weight, but take it for what it's worth.

-Jacksonville is a city of ricers and enthusiasts. With every group you have your good and your bad. From the M3 guys (a lot of whom were into the scene back in the early 00s and late 90s with some other form of import) to the other groups. There are many enthusiasts in Jax who just like there cars and others.

- Blue06 I disagree that it's Honda guys alone. The immature mustang/domestic crowd is just as bad. There are some clean civics/S2ks/Accords/etc rolling around town, but just like us (anyone opposite ricers that behaves and isn't over-the-top) they don't congregate where the ricers do.

- Also it's a bit harsh to say the entire VQ community will never respect civics for what they have done. 1.) Because a clean car is a clean car and they're not all assclowns. 2.) Let's face it, there's an import scene and after-market presence because of the Honda crowd. It wasn't all the American Fairlady drivers or grey-market supporters that made the scene, it was them.

- That being said BoostinLasterRed, I agree with Blue06 in that Sonic isn't the "enthusiast " crowd, majority wise. There's a mixture of all in there, but more knuckleheads than anything else. I speak from the opinion of one whose been, even back when they used to meet behind Regency Mall (it was a bit better than, but still the same crowd).
