I have Geico and I made out with $22K when I tree'd mine. I was only expecting $20K so I was pretty happy.

It's really a nice camera, too... It project a space the size of your vehicle onto the area behind you so you can see how things line up...

yup i saw it in action friday, its pretty sick. besides displaying lines that are color coded by distance, it also projects your approach depending on the angle of your wheels.

update: just came from infiniti this morning. i told them i plan on waiting for the 09s as soon as they get them. i was offered 43,100 for the exact car i wanted except with grey interior instead of black. i turned it down and told them i need the graphite so they said they will get it for sure. once i get my checks in a week or 2 i will go back in for serious negotiations. either way though, looks like im waiting til end of dec or beginning of jan for the car. ill probably keep the rental at $25/day so that means i will be looking to knock at least another $1000 off the price for them making me wait. also i will be contacting lokey and a couple other dealers to see what they can do for me as well.

Lyndon, since you are keeping the rental car longer, get a weekly or monthly rate. It is a lot cheaper.

i looked into it sean but its actually $50 more using the monthly rate for the altima i have. if i go with an economy size, its only $50 cheaper. currently i have the geico rate plus another small discount to get me under the $25/day that geico limits. enterprise was nice enough to allow me to keep the rate and i will actually be on a daily basis so if i need it for more or less time, i only pay for what i need.

edit: lol bernard just told me his buddy picked up my car. small world. hope he enjoys it as much as i did.

When the G37s first came out, I informed them I had money in hand to be paid off once the car was on the lot. From beginning of negotiations to having the car in my possession...less than 10 days. When I dealt with them, I found that Atlantic Infiniti doesn't aggressively search till you show you're ready to commit and are ready to buy then and there. So it may be sooner than you think.

ya the sales manager john found me the 1 that was almost what i wanted except with stone interior and gave me that offer. i let him know i had to have it perfect and he was very happy to get exactly what i wanted. like i said, he remembered me from the g37 launch. not to mention i know the business, service and general manager so they know im serious about this. but still i just have to relax til i have the $ in hand so the fun can start lol.

Lyndon, supposedly your old car has been sold to a guy who's going to fix it back up. I talked to Bernard (Black_Sedan), and he said a friend of his bought it and said it was only going to cost him $4,000 or $5,000 to get it back to normal...

He's trying to find out FOR SURE, if it's in fact your old car...

Not sure if Bernard will be at Hooters today, but give him a call...

Its the same car... 4-5k was the rough number. I think its going to take a little more, but for the price he paid it was a steal either way.

I cant disclose the price, since I really wasnt supposed to know.

Oh, and if anyone has some G35 coupe front end parts hit me up.
