Dang, Lyndon, the car doesn't look to good. But, you're ok and that's more important. Like you said, the car's replaceable. Can't believe you still drove it even in that condition. Did I hear AB G37?

ya i was too busy freaking out to realize it. ya guess ill be waiting to see...

auto world on altantic just west of southside. its the shop rob at infiniti recommended. they do all their body work as well as factory honda repairs.

Did they give you an estimate on damages?

I'd be pissed if they try to fix it, but I've seen insurance companies fix worse and not total it out.

not yet. its at the body shop. adjuster should be out there in a day or 2 so its a waiting game now. i wouldnt mind just new parts and redoing her if shes safely fixable but thats a big if.

update: adjuster just called and its over $14k in damages so far. i just gave the body shop permission to tear it apart so they can assess any further damages. not sure ill know by tomorrow so probably monday ill know the full deal...

not sure if i feel safe selling the sways. with all the unibody damage, im sure they've been stressed pretty hard. ill have to check them out but dunno sorry.

well... some insurance companies go up to 65-70% of "their" value, 14k/65% = 23.3k, for a 30k car, 65% would be 21k.

Best of luck again

I totalled my Titan in September, they valued it at 8k over dealer trade in value (i had taken it in for appraisal 2 days prior to my "tree" incident)
