First w0ady then...

It seems like my 03.5 sedan attracts other vehicles to come into contact with it. At least it is always someone else's fault. I only had the car out of the shop a week to the day when this happened. The front and rear bumpers had just been painted and new headlights installed.

This is what happened last night when the white truck did a wide u-turn in front of me and came around and hit me as I passed by it.

The impact knocked the car onto the concrete lane divider and the guy kept going. I was stunned, but I got the car on the road, even though the right front tire was rubbing the crumpled fender, caught up with the guy, pulled in front of him and made him stop. He didn't stop quite in time and hit the left corner of the rear bumper.

The important thing is that no one went to the hospital. The guy got a ticket for improper u-turn. Now my car is at the shop. We'll see how much it's going to cost.

A BIG THANKS to Chucky for coming over and picking me and my stuff up and leading the tow truck to the body shop.

Sean,

Sorry to hear about the accident but glad to hear you and your wife are OK from it. As far as all kinds of accidents on the road, it's not too often to see a front-side impact caused by the other guilty party. Hope everything works out with the other party's insurance (I'm sure you're well aware of it since that's what you do in your work). As 04G35NYC mentioned, maybe a Nismo front bumper would be a worthwhile replacement (I know there's a guy on Ebay who sells OEM aero parts in Carribean Blue for the sedan at cheap prices).

Uhhhhh he didn't get a ticket for leaving the scene of an accident? I mean, he did do a hit and run on you! I would've beat the MF!!!
