This is getting outta hand! my rant

hello,
alright so this is the problem. i lived in miami up until january. i have an 08sedan. anyways, this previous september my brakes started squeeling like crazy, cars not even a year old, so im worried. i take it to south motors infiniti in december and they charge me to re-surface/cut/shave the front rotors. i drive off and everything is perfect. now fast forward to january 22, i live in tallahassee now (FSU) and my brakes are once again squeeling like pigs!!!!! im gonna make an appointment at prestige tommorow but i am not paying again when infiniti claimed it wasnt the pads and that they fixed the problem. what do you guys think?

More about miles and usage than length of time. Most manufactures will not warranty brake work most of the time. There is always exceptions though. Let us know what they say.

i know that, but within a month and a half i have the same exact problem? i know its wear and tear, ive put roughly 900 miles since i got the brake job done. 600 of that was highway driving. i hardly drive up here, it just pisses me off to here the same sound everytime i tap the brakes. the cars a year and 2 months old and its going in for the second time on brake problems. cmon now

Understood. Take it back in but don't pay. Still have work order from last time? Hopefully they'll honour work done by another dealer done in another state.

hopefully its in my glove compartment. if not i know for sure its in the computer and i know they can pull it up. i made a big complaint about this back in miami and the service manager put an extra note in the comp. so its there. im just frustrated, i mean i love the car but this is an annoyance.

does anybody have any input on how prestige infiniti handles its customers? it will be my first time going and im 19 so im already expecting to get thrown around like a child, been dealing with it for a while now, lol.

how are the pads? do you have aftermarket wheels? could be that 1 of the shops that took off your wheels overtightened your lugs and warped the rotors. resurfacing will only do so much.

make sure you bring it up that its on your record and they need to fix it.

Could be a simple case of carbon build up on the rotors from bad braking habits... riding the brakes is one thing, but riding the brakes through turns is another. Neither are good, but the later "warps" rotors.
