Great minds think alike I have a 2-ton Sears floor jack, set of jack stands, torque wrench, breaker bar and various tools I can fit in my trunk and do repairs on the go. I'll bring 'em to the next DIY meet set up

Quote: I might take you up on that. lol ill buy you lunch and dinner. I can do some things myself but i am so busy...
Cool, PM me anytime you're ready. What part of Orlando are you in?

Beyond changing my oil, I'm pretty clueless on the rest. Last car was auto and fwd, too.

Back to the original topic..lol......any suggestions for maintenance in Orlando? I take care of most things at my father in-laws shop in Venice but that's 2 hours away and if something comes up I am looking a reliable mechanic/shop who knows what they are doing with G's (or better yet, someone with the tools, lifts and knowledge here locally).

Only a month. I read the responses on page 1 so I guess I should have worded it differently. Somewhere other than the dealership and the place on Lee Road for oil changes. I have lived a few places in Florida and Orlando has always seemed like a hard place to find a solid mechanic even though there are hundreds. I take my vehicles to my father in-laws shop on the west coast to do most of my maintenance so I would probably only being looking for somewhere for the occasional oil change and (knock on wood) if something like my clutch went out. I have spent the last few years with an SUV in between having a gsr and my G so I haven't really looked for a mechanic for a while.
