3m = fail !!!

 

The 3m clear bra definitely protected the bumper, just not the paint underneath it. I had it repainted before I put the clear bra on so its funny to me that looking at the paint chip off I can see the original DG paint of the bumper show up.

 

That's always good.

I was planning on going Inven...but that guy hasn't gotten back to me with an ebill. Been waiting for a month now...

i had a clear bra on my 35. after 3.5 years, it wasnt in the best condition. sucks paying double to replace it and repaint so id rather just repaint my bumper every year or so.

 

the opposite happened to me on the way home from work... I got hit by someones spare

yea, i swerved and it got my front windshield pillar

the spare tire from the bottom of a truck in front of me fell (cable broke). it hit the ground then bounced in the air. i swerved and i was lucky enough that the wheel hit with the tire and not the rim.. ive got tire rash and scratches on the drivers side windshield pillar and part of the windshield... the guy in the truck didnt know what happened till i pulled up next to him down the road

 

Sorry to hear that Max. Is that guy or his insurance going to pay for the damages to your car? Did it dent the windshield pillar on your car?

 

glad its just cosmetic and nothing worse.

 

Damn Max. You are not having the best of luck lately. Will his insurance cover the damages? That's crazy how it bounced and hit your A Pillar I take it? I was driving on I-4 one time in rush hour traffic, and a Semi's tire blew right in front of me. Nearly s**t my pants!

And then there was the road kill incident on the way to Tampa a couple months ago...
