Ok, same car then. I just saw it a few weeks ago. It still has the Vortech. He lives somewhere around town, I told him about the G35driver site, but he says he doesn't "do" forums. He has a bunch of close friends with other makes and models that he hangs out with though. He likes to just do that instead. Can't say I blame him. Being with people with all the same cars gets too be a bit much sometimes. I'm a gearhead legend on the Mazda forums, but I prefer to hang around other makes and models mostly. Helps me to learn about other nice cars and it doesn't limit the people you would've never had met otherwise by staying in your own "world".

YES... YES MY MINIONS.... call me Lara the Legend! lol jk

Honestly, I had a pm the other day from a guy asking me if I was "the laracroft" from the mazda forums. He said I was legendary (which is why I say that.... gives me giggles). He asked me why I didn't go on the Mazda forums that much anymore. He said he liked my how to's and rebuild threads. I had NO IDEA who this guy was. He was from Washington state. Even at HIN a couple guys here and there came up to me and asked if I was from the Mazda forums too... they've read all my posts and followed my car... I have no idea who THEY were either. Kinda cool, yet creepy at the same time. But yet, it's pretty flattering. It's good to know I'm known... and not in a BAD way. But yeah, Miguel pretty much thinks I'm legendary too. Iconic even!!!!!

Sometimes it can be like a Honda forum. There are a few of us on there that are pretty modified and have posted for years. But like any forum, you're going to get the "Hi! I just bought a Mazda Protege and wanted to mod it. My friend said that I should get a spoiler for it first. I was thinking APC...." lol

Yeah same goes on any forum. Most people don't know what they're doing at first & can learn a lot from the more experienced members
