New from Miami

Hey guys,

I created my account a while back and although I read a lot I never really post. I'd like to change that and so I'll begin with an introduction.

I purchased my '05 G in Sept. 2007 with 18k miles. It's loaded with Premium B and NAV. She's got 40k now and I am just as happy as the day I brought her home. The only mods I have done is drop the front with 350Z unrevised springs and swap to 350Z 35th anniversary wheels.

I'm not new to the Nissan family. Prior to the G I had a '96 Maxima and a '94 Maxima.

The first 2 pics are from when I first got her. The last is the most recent.

Looking forward to sharing and learning from all of you!

Victor

Did you need cambers for your front drop? I am planning to do the same thing as you. Just drop the front with unrevised 350z springs and leave the rear stock since its not a big gap as the front. And was an alignment needed after?

The drop isn't agressive enough to require camber plates. I didn't have the car immediately aligned and the inner sides of the tires began to wear. No biggie since I hated the stock Potenzas the 350Z wheels came with. I've since replaced the tires and had it aligned and its perfect. So, yes align it after the swap. IMO if you are on a flat surface the front 350Z springs/ rear stock springs give the car a dead front/rear even look.
