does anyone know how to fix the door switch

We were able to fix my door lock issue yesterday. Took some time but now that we've done it, it should take less time. Big thanks to all that helped with the fix . Thanks sen for letting us use your garage.
There is a DIY that we followed step by step. We purchased the $20 generic actuator from Best Buy and did it ourselves... we did not "replace" the old one per se. I'll let Max find the thread and he can link you.
Max was the only one who did it on Saturday but Eldge and I are still planning on fixing ours soon. I would say you could come over and fix yours with us but you're in KY... lol

Fix is easy with the right tools.. The link is in this thread somewhere, or you can do a search for " $5 door lock fix". Also the link for the door panel removal is somewhere in this thread
